This style exaggeration is also used in many different games today. An example game to support this super smash bros 2. In this game battling enemies is exaggerated e.g. punches look overpowering as well as other fight moves and power ups.
This style exaggeration defines real life events such as battles and turns it in to a more overpowering , unrealistic manner to make it more enjoyable and addicting to gamer's.
